Premium Floor Fitting & Trim FAQs

Frequently asked questions about our premium floor fitting & trim services in Northern Colorado:

Why is subfloor preparation so important?

An uneven subfloor causes click-lock planks to separate or squeak over time. We level subfloors before installation.

Is luxury vinyl plank (LVP) waterproof?

Yes. LVP is 100% waterproof, making it the ideal choice for kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, and basements.

Do you remove and dispose of existing carpet and tile?

Yes. We tear out old carpet, tack strips, and tile, vacuum the subfloor, and haul away all old materials.

Do I need to acclimate hardwood flooring before installation?

Yes. Wood flooring must acclimate inside your home for 3 to 7 days to adjust to Colorado’s dry indoor humidity.

How long does a flooring installation take?

Most residential flooring projects (500 to 1,000 sq ft) are completed in 2 to 3 days, including prep and baseboard installs.

Can you install flooring over my existing vinyl or concrete?

If the existing floor is flat, structurally sound, and clean, we can install LVP or laminate directly over it using underlayment.
